Wargrave Big Local
As trusted hybrid designers and web developers for a number of companies througout Yorkshire, our expertise is called upon when inspiration is required for website designs and builds of their customer websites.
In this particular case, a website design and build for Wargrave Big Local, a community hub in Warrington was required. The company requested that we use Avada as their choice of Wordpress template in the website build to keep development costs down. Although using templates is not our preferred choice for web development, we are always happy to accommodate our clients' preferences.

From a design perspective, the inherited logo had already been created, but the brand design had not been fully explored. Our first step was to establish the colour palette and typography styles.
With that complete, our next logical step was to explore the community, friendly and supportive nature of what Wargrave Big Local is about at heart.
This essence led us to produce a range of icons and illustations with a hand drawn style that are friendly yet unmistakeable.

We then designed a suite of friendly characters to assist with the reinforcement of messaging throughout the website, that could also easily be used in further marketing, brochures, flyers and emails etc.
The further idea of community, together and hub were graphically designed as circular patterns to show the abstract nature of all our individual differences that can come together to acheive a common goal.

The culmination of our brand exploration and graphic design gave us the tools to design and build an Avada based, Wordpress website that the organisers of Wargrave Big Local are proud to own.
